Hogsmill Public Open Space
Hogsmill Public Open Space,
Surbiton
This is a park right next to Green Lane Recreation, with the Hogsmill River running all the way through, joining the two recreation grounds. It used to be a farm, and is the only remaining part of that bit of history.
Another interesting history fact here, is that it is the site of which John Everett painted Ophelia in 1851. Today, people still ponder over which part of the river this was set at. So enjoy the Hogsmill walk and decide for yourself.
There are many bird species to be sought out here, so with natural wildlife blooming all over this public space, including paved paths for those not so adventurous; it really does cater to all your wants and needs.
